Paws and More is a bonded and insured professional pet & house sitting service that provides in-home pet sitting, dog walking/running, house sitting and overnight stays for our clients. Providing peace of mind when you are on vacation or working late, our services are designed to make your time away from home as easy on your pet as possible, staying in their own environment while you are away!
We’ll take care of your home while also taking care of your pets or as a stand alone service. Worried about your home when the entire family – pets & all – are out-of-town? We will alternate lights and drapes, bring in mail and packages, take out your trash & recycling or water your plants and lawn. Just let us know!
Our professional, experienced pet sitters cater to your schedule and provide guaranteed service even on short notice. Weather has you worried? Give us a call and we’ll let your pet in out of the rain for you or check to make sure they are safe inside.
Our pets are our family too – we understand the stress that can come with vacation planning – or work travel, we’ll give you the comfort you need so your time away from home is as worry-free as possible!

As an “unofficial” pet sitter for friends and family for 7 + years, and a life-time pet owner and lover, I was thrilled for the opportunity to turn it into a full-time career! I mean, caring for & playing with cats and dogs all day/night…how awesome is that?! This dream has been several years in the making, and I feel so lucky that what started out as a “wouldn’t it be nice…” daydream, is now my livelihood!
We had several pets in my adolescence, Smokey – a sweet, grey male kitty, Lady – a beautiful white toy poodle and Kacye – a loveable brown toy poodle. After moving to the country in my teens, we always had farm cats and outside dogs (and a few kitties I found being abused that I promptly rescued and bottle fed to health) but I didn’t get the chance to have indoor pets again until after college – I.could.not.wait! I rescued Gracie in May of 2004, and we later adopted Neko in December of 2010.
I’ve been an Austin resident for 27 years and even though I wasn’t “officially” born here, I consider myself an “Austinite” and love every aspect of living in here! As kitty lovers and parents, my friends and I may be the ones you overhear in the ’04, sharing kitty stories, wearing funny cat shirts and observing “Caturday” each Saturday. I enjoy trail running (participated in a few 1/2 marathons and my first 30k in 2011), boot camps and yoga – and above all caring for your furry friends as they were my own!
Paws and More is a member of and insured and bonded by Pet Sitters International. Locally, we are members of Austin Pet Sitters Organization, Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and Austin’s local NPR station, KUT’s Business Circle (since 2013). We have also been Certified in Pet CPR & First Aid by Four Legged First Aid.
